As the summer heats up we’ve been selling more and more of our cold brew iced coffee. People visiting us at farmer’s markets always ask us how to make it, so I decided to make a video showing the easiest way to make cold-brew coffee, using the Bodum Bean Press.
Cold-brew iced coffee is no joke. It makes a concentrate that when mixed with ice, tastes like “real” coffee. There is no watering down, which happens frequently when people brew hot coffee and pour it over ice. The coffee can also be warmed, with water added, and consumed as a “normal” cup of hot coffee. Whether hot or cold, it has 70% less acidity than hot-brewed coffee, making it much easier to enjoy.
We’ve been selling our cold-brew at several locations in both the Burlington, VT and NY Metro area. It gets rave reviews, and rarely do people know how easy it is to make @ home!
